Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu national reserve

14 days Kenya and Tanzania Holiday safaris start with a pick-up from the Airport/residential area/Hotel.  Travel north of Nairobi to the isolated Samburu National Reserve, which is found in the semi-arid Rift Valley Province in the southeast corner of Samburu District. Numerous wildlife species, such as the endangered Gravy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk, can be found in the reserve. Drive through the highlands of Kenya while admiring the surrounding coffee, tea, sisal, and pineapple farms. The striking shape of Mount Kenya, our nation’s pride and tallest mountain, will be visible as you proceed. Other beautiful areas outside of Samburu National Park include Koitolor and Ololokwe Mountains. Upon your arrival, check into the camp or lodge. Dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 2: morning and afternoon game drives

Have breakfast. Explore Samburu’s wildlife and cultural tours in more detail. In the early light, keep an eye out for animals such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Game drives in Samburu Game Reserves provide excellent opportunities to see the “Special Five,” or Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy’s Zebras, Gerenuk, and Beisa Oryx, which are five rarely seen wildlife species. Elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and other captivating animals like dik-dik, warthogs, and olive baboons may be present at the shallow end of the Ewaso Ng’iro River when you return. lunch at your camp or lodge. Samburu National Reserve is where conservationist Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness, which made her famous in the ‘Borne Free’ book and movie. Visit the Samburu people later. They are distant cousins of the well-known Maasai and share a common traditional dress code that includes strikingly patterned jewellery, blankets, and Shukas. Visits to Samburu villages offer the chance to participate in a range of cultural activities, including “high jump” dances, the making of traditional ornaments, the herding of cattle, goats, and camels, and more. Day 3: Samburu national reserve – Aberdare’s national park

After breakfast, depart from your camp or lodge. Just before leaving Samburu National Reserve, take a quick game drive. Make your way to Aberdare National Park. where you will have the opportunity to see some of the most unique and rare wildlife in all of Africa. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive bongo, a forest antelope that is only found in this region. You may also spot a giant forest hog or a black and white colobus monkey swinging through the trees.  Among the numerous animals that can be found in Aberdare’s National Park, which is largely surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest, are elephants, rhinos, monkeys, and baboons. A rare giant forest fog and an African wild cat might also be visible if you’re lucky. Ornithologists have the chance to observe various bird species. Mountains covered in mist, waterfalls, and tropical forests can all be found in Aberdare National Park. The best lodging in the park is Treetops Hotels, where you can watch, wildlife being drawn to the saltlick or waterhole from the comfort of your room.

Day 4: Aberdare’s National park-lake Nakuru national park

Have breakfast. After that, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will make a pit stop near Thompson’s Falls. Let us gaze at this magnificent sight and take as many shots as we can. Continue your tour via the spectacular Great Rift Valley landscape. Upon your arrival, check into your camp or lodge and prepare yourself for an incredible adventure. Lake Nakuru National Park is a wildlife enthusiast’s paradise, with lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes among its inhabitants. Explore the park on a guided safari tour to see some of this magnificent wildlife in its natural habitat. The park also has over 400 bird species, making it a birdwatcher’s dream. Don’t forget to go to Lake Nakuru, which is noted for the vast number of pink flamingos that migrate to its shores. Return to your camp or lodge after a day of adventure and excitement, and relax by the campfire while eating a delicious meal under the stars. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp

 Day 5: lake Nakuru national park –Masai mara national reserve

We have our breakfast early at the Camp/Lodge, we will enjoy an early morning game drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is widely known as a haven for birds and is a habitat for diverse wildlife, giving a new Kenya safari experience from what you will have seen in the previous days. This alkaline lake is covered by pink flamingos on its shorelines; eagles soar out on the sky, with storks and pelicans wading in the shallow parts of the lake. The endangered black and white rhinos plod out from the bushes, buffalos and giraffes stand against the trees and lions can be seen on the tree branches as well. This park also is a habitat for others like zebras, antelopes, hyenas, and waterbucks among many others. This park provides a unique wildlife safari experience and lifetime memories. Later we will exit the park and start our journey to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Along the way, have a stopover for the optional boat ride at an extra cost of $20 p.p. Upon arrival, we can have a short game drive-time permitting, before retiring to our accommodation. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 6: Unlimited game drive in the majestic Mara plains

(Spice up your memories with a Hot Air Balloon Ride-This is an optional activity with prior arrangements in Maasai Mara at an extra cost of $420p.p-$450 pp.)

Enjoy a lavish breakfast. Following that, you will go on an extensive game-viewing frenzy. traverse through the rolling Savannah grass, keeping an eye out for wildlife. The big cat’s diary is well known in this reserve. If you’re lucky, you might see lion pride, elephant herds, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo. Antelopes, gazelles, cheetahs, topis, and wildebeests are among the other animals. Between July and October each year, a dramatic wildebeest migration takes place across the Mara River. You will have a picnic lunch along the Mara River while observing the hippos and crocodiles. Return for the afternoon game drive. Later, add a Maasai Village tour (an optional activity) to your Kenya safari for an additional $10 per person. The Maasai people have a distinct traditional code that includes colourfully created jewellery, ornaments, a clothing code, cattle, goat, and camel herding, milking, their language, and “high jump” dances to delightful rhythm music. Day 7: Masai Mara- Amboseli national park

Have an early morning breakfast, then exit the reserve with en route game drive to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is a scenic destination for the huge herds of elephants commonly known as the ‘Jumbos’, the Snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro-tallest peak. This is the best place to take photos with a striking background of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check into your camps. Proceed with the evening game drive if time permits. Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge/Camp.

Day 8: Extensive game drive

Have breakfast. Set out on a full-day game drive. We are certain to encounter huge herds of elephants in the swampy areas. Meanwhile be also on the lookout for other wildlife such as antelopes, giraffes, warthogs, and dik-dik. Moreover, this is one of the best places for birdwatching. Over 400 bird species have been recorded here, including birds of prey, and many wetland birds use and nest in the swamp. When the clouds clear off in the evening, you can see the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge/camp.

Destination: Amboseli National Park

Day 9: Amboseli National park-Arusha via Namanga border

Enjoy your lavish breakfast. Exit the park with picnic lunch boxes as you enjoy en route game drive. You will arrive in Tanzania via the Namanga border. Clear with procedure and customs procedures.  Thereafter Our Tanzania Driver/Guide will transfer you to your hotel Booked on bed and Breakfast. The evening will be spent on leisure. Dinner at your own arrangements.

Destination: Arusha town

 

Day 10: Arusha- lake Manyara

Embark on a combined Kenya and Tanzania holiday safari or an East Africa safari to Lake Manyara National Park. As you enter the park, the shrouded mahogany trees and the heavily forested area smile at you. In addition to its breathtaking surroundings, the park is famous for the unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. The lake is encrusted with pink flamingos, and it is home to more than 400 species of birds, including waterfowl and migrants. Have lunch. Continue with the game drive until late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp

Day 11: lake Manyara-Serengeti national park

After breakfast. Leave Lake Manyara Park with an en-route game drive. Drive to the Serengeti through Karatu’s lovely Highland farms and the Ngorongoro Conservation Reserve. descend into Serengeti National Park, the heart of wild Africa. Go to the Seronera Central region of the park, which has one of the best animal habitats: the Seronera River, a magnet for wildlife species. Come in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive until the evening. Expect to see lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, and monkeys, among other animals. Dinner and a stay at the camp or lodge

Day 12: Full day in Serengeti National Park

A whole day dedicated to game viewing makes African safaris more enchanted. A fantastic and exciting experience awaits you in the Serengeti. One of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the world, the African savannah is home to an enormous variety of wildlife, including the critically endangered rhino species, big cats like lions and cheetahs, as well as zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and enormous African elephants. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge

Day 13: Serengeti national park –Ngorongoro crater

(Optional Olduvai Gorge Museum visit at an extra cost of $42 per person)

Exit the park after breakfast and take a game drive to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge with picnic lunches. The 20-kilometre-wide volcanic crater Ngorongoro has 600-meter-high walls. In 2010, Ngorongoro was designated a UNESCO site. Experience stunning views from the crater rim and an abundance of species as a result of the crater floor’s perennial water supply. Olduvai George is famed for the discovery of fossil fragments of early human civilization. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the crater. The evening will be spent at leisure.

Day 14: Ngorongoro crater – Arusha

Have breakfast. Enjoy game drives at Ngorongoro Crater. Expect to spot wildlife such as leopards, cheetahs, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, giant African elephants, leopards, cheetahs, and lions, among others.
