Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking/Tracking- Bwindi forest
After the tasty breakfast, ensure you carry packed lunch from the lodge as you drive straight to the headquarters. Here you will meet fellow trekkers and be briefed concerning gorilla trekking. Later you will begin trekking as led by the park ranger guides who are well informed and knowledgeable about these gorillas, how long trekking will take depends on the movement of mountain gorillas at that time therefore it could last for 2 to 8 hours.
You are encouraged to carry enough water, sunglasses, rain coats, hats, and to wear sturdy shoes. You will be allowed to be with the gorillas for only one hour. Return to your lodge and relax. During the evening hours, you can decide to stay at the lodge and rest or visit the Batwa community of which you will discover a lot about their culture and customs. Come back for dinner and have an overnight.
