Day 1: NAIROBI / OL PAJETA CONSERVANCY

Your safari holiday begins after your breakfast in the hotel. Driving through the Mount Kenya rich highland landscape, you will descend on the rugged wild open bushland in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You arrive in time for lunch at the Sweetwater’s Serena Camp. The conservancy comprises of different habitats that are essential for the conservation of wildlife in it. The big five can be found in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This is the only conservancy, where you can find the last two female northern white rhinos, in the world. In Ol Pejeta, you can also find the chimpanzee sanctuary, giving you a surreal experience of the African safari diversity. You shall have an afternoon game drive in search of the leopards, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, elephants, lions, among others. Dinner and overnight will be at the Sweetwater’s Serena Camp.

Day 2 : OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY – LAKE NAKURU

Your day will start with a morning game drive after the sumptuous breakfast. Later you will proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, via the Thomson’s falls, where you have a chance to witness more of the rich diversity of a Kenya safari. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for a hot lunch. The pink flamingos covering Lake Nakuru National Park, welcome you to this stunning lake, which is one of the best in East Africa. There are over 400 species of birds in Lake Nakuru, among them, the grebes, tiny avocets, pelicans, and cormorants. The inhabitants of this lake are many, including the black and white rhinos, hyenas, zebras, lions, impalas, the Rothschild giraffes, buffalos, and many more. You can decide to relax at your lodge or take a swim. Dinner and overnight shall be at Lake Nakuru Lodge or the Sarova Woodlands Hotel.

Day 3 : LAKE NAKURU TO MASAI MARA

Start the day with a thrilling morning drive, through the Lake Nakuru picturesque ridges and bushy grassland. Later proceed to Maasai Mara through the floor of the Great Rift Valley, with lunch en-route. You will arrive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, in time for your game drive, venturing through the wild Maasai Plains, looking out for the local cast of residents here. A game drive here will showcase the authentic African safari experience at its best as the abundance of the wildlife here is revealed. Dinner and overnight will be at the Sarova Mara Game Camp

Day 4 : FULL DAY EXPLORING THE MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

A whole day spent at Maasai Mara exploring the vast plains, in search of its wildlife, a haven for the big cats. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is one of the most-known parks in the world and is a wildlife sanctuary for Kenya. Sightings for today include Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras dominate the scene while Antelopes, Warthogs, Wildebeests form formidable numbers. Maasai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer than any other park in the region. You will have your picnic lunch and continue to venture through the plains looking out for real close wildlife encounters. Tracing the various animals, you find yourself at the Mara River which has crocodiles and hippos; this is the wildebeest crossing point from the neighboring Serengeti. The Mara plains comprise of wildlife and the communities of the Maasai people. An optional local Maasai Village visit can be arranged at the end of the day at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5 : MASAI MARA 

After breakfast check out, and go for a short game drive in Maasai Mara, where you have a chance the spot wildlife for the last time. Later leave Maasai Mara via Narok arriving in Nairobi in the evening, a drop off at the hotel, or be transferred to the airport. You will depart Africa with wonderful wild memories of your Kenya safari that will last you a lifetime.
